“I am grateful for the friendships and connections I've made through MWC.”
“Modern Widows Club provided me with an online community with relevant and relatable material when I needed it most. It was just the community and information I needed during the first few years of widowhood and has remained a valuable resource for 11+ years. I am grateful for the friendships and connections I've made through MWC.”

“I know my group is always there for me.”
“As a widow survivor of suicide, I found very few options for support. When I discovered Modern Widows Club at 10 months out, I was a basket case, but I finally found a group that understood me and the uniqueness of my situation. When PTSD and mental illness came up, most people shut me out — but not this group. In other groups, like those for parents who lost children, everyone had a spouse to lean on, and I had nobody, often leaving feeling worse than when I arrived.
Through the Widow Survivors of Suicide community, I began to truly face my new life and the journey ahead. Nearly three years out, some days are still hard, but I know my group is always there for me.”
