Local Widow Support Communities
Join a local community of widows for in-person support, shared experiences, and meaningful connections as you navigate life after loss. Each community is led by two trained widow advocates who have graduated from our MWC Leadership Program.
Virtual Widow Support Communities
Join a virtual widow support community for virtual connection, shared experiences, and heartfelt encouragement as you navigate life after loss. Most of our community connects this way (until they have an in-person community launched). Each virtual community is led by two community advocates trained and graduated from our MWC Leadership Program.
Support Clubs
Modern Widows Club offers special interest support clubs tailored to meet the unique needs and many interests of widows as they connect with one another and navigate their journey of healing and growth.
Start Your Own Widow Support Community
Step One of starting a new widow support community is registering for the MWC Lead: Part One e-course. This e-course equips widows with essential leadership skills to inspire, guide, and support others on their healing journey.
After completing Lead: Part One, you can move on to Step Two which consists of participating in an interview with our Program Manager and then taking the Lead: Part Two e-course to launch an official MWC affiliate community.
