Founder and Executive Director
Carolyn Moor is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of Modern Widows Club®, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering widows to thrive through grief and beyond. Drawing from her personal journey of loss and resilience, Carolyn has transformed her experience into a mission of hope and healing for widows worldwide. With her compassionate leadership, she has cultivated a supportive community that guides widows through the stages of Hope, Heal, Grow, and Lead, helping them find purpose and joy in life once again.
Heather Price
Organizational Administrator
Heather Price is the Organizational Administrator at Modern Widows Club®, where she ensures the smooth operation of day-to-day activities with her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. As a compassionate daughter of a widow, Heather brings a unique understanding and empathy to her role, deeply connecting with the mission of supporting widows. With a warm and approachable demeanor, Heather supports the MWC team and its members, helping to create a welcoming environment for widows seeking connection, guidance, and community. Her personal experiences fuel her dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those navigating their widowhood journey. Liz Ryan
STAR Program Manager
Liz uses her personal loss to offer support, empathy, and guidance to those walking along this journey. Her ability to listen and respond with compassion, in conjunction with her excellent communication skills, allows her to assist those who may need her direction.
Our STAR community program stands for Support, Thrive, Assess and Renew. It inspires every community, both in person and virtual, to promote compassionate support, resilience, effectiveness and to meet their evolving needs with excellence.
Katherine Griffith-Williams
Social Media Manager
Katherine Griffith-Williams is the Social Media Manager at Modern Widows Club®, where she uses her creative expertise and strategic insight to amplify the organization’s mission across digital platforms. Passionate about connecting with and supporting widows through engaging content, Katherine ensures that MWC’s social media presence is inspiring and informative.

Our Ambassador Council is a dedicated group of individuals driving our mission to empower widows. They amplify widow voices, raise awareness, and promote widowhood as a crucial support network for families. Our goal is to expand the Ambassador Circle to 100 members, advocating for widowhood as an essential, inclusive support network and integrating it into women's health initiatives. Join us!
