About the Wister® Prayer Team
One of the meaningful new 2024 initiatives we hoped to introduce into Modern Widows Club® | The Movement for Widow Care (MWC) is the formation of a dedicated community and team of prayer wister® (widow + sisters). These compassionate volunteers will unite to receive and respond to the many prayer requests from the thousands of widows within our organization. If you would like to step forward and be on our Wister Prayer Team, as a purposeful volunteer for this initiative, please complete the form below.
We welcome people of all faiths and spiritual traditions to join us in this heartfelt mission of love, care, and unity.
By harnessing the power of collective prayer, we aim to offer healing, encouragement, and spiritual strength to women as they navigate the challenges of widowhood. This sacred space will allow widows to feel seen, supported, and uplifted, knowing that they are never alone on their journey. Together, we will embody the spirit of love, faith, and connection through prayerful community.
Now more than ever, we believe it’s essential to engage our new Wister Prayer Team from all backgrounds to stand in the gap for widows. Their journeys can feel overwhelming, and they need our prayers on a global scale. As the number of widows continues to grow, so must our outreach and commitment to offering both spiritual and emotional support.
Together, we can cultivate a sacred space where no widow feels isolated, unprotected, or unloved—a community united in faith and compassion.
