Jenn F.

I’m Jenn, a Honolulu native. I married my first love Stephen who passed away at the young age of 30 while serving in the US Air Force. In the following years, I started a life for myself in Southern Illinois, building a successful photography business that has taken me to several countries and throughout the United States. My passion is empowering women (including my widow sisters) to feel and know their value and the beauty they possess from the inside out. I have worked with thousands of women over the years through my photography business and ministry inspiring and cultivating growth from the inside out. You can see this in my work and in the lives of those I have mentored and touched.

Jen J.

Jen was widowed on December 26, 2012 when her husband, Todd suffered a sudden heart attack at the age of 40. She discovered Modern Widows Club shortly after, and over the past 10 years has served in various roles from community advocate, Board of Directors member, Advisory Council member, and now as co-leader of the Dating Club. She’s a firm believer in paying forward what’s been given to her, and that the greatest impact we can make is in the life of another. Serving and advocating for her widow sisters has become one of her greatest passions. As she has grown in knowledge of dating and relating after loss, she has also discovered a deep mission for helping others create profound self-love and finding new aligned partnership. When she’s not mentoring others with her dear friend and wister Jenn F., she gets to be a mom to 2 of the coolest teens on the planet. Her adventurous spirit means you will likely find her on a trail, beach, or plane, and as a small business owner, she does as many creative and impactful things as she can.

Support from other widows as well as some friends. Also, in my second year, I attended the first empowerment weekend in Orlando. It was my first contact with MWC, and I was so excited to learn all the information presented that weekend and really felt understood by all the women I met. I believed after that weekend that someday I would want to launch a chapter to help other women.
